The 1st Meeting of the Monitoring Committee of Interreg V-A Latvia-Lithuania Programme takes the Programme closer to its launch

On 3 – 4 March 2016 the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee of Interreg V-A Latvia – Lithuania Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2014 – 2020 took place in Riga, Latvia.

Rules of Procedure of the Monitoring Committee were approved and the Monitoring Committee established. The meeting set good ground for common understanding of the further work. Decisions were made to adopt the Programme Work Plan for 2016, Programme Technical Assistance budget for the period 2016-2022 as well as to announce the 1st Call for proposals no later than by the end of April 2016 and to foresee at least three months for submission of applications for the 1st Call for proposals. Detailed discussions took place with regards to Programme manual in order to set clear requirements for project applicants and project implementation.
