Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian, and Finnish organizations and government institutions have published a free digital platform ESG Tool that helps businesses navigate the complexities of sustainability standards and prepare for ESG reporting. The ESG Tool is available in English, Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, and Lithuanian.
The tool enables entrepreneurs to assess the impact of their company's operations on the environment, social and governance (ESG) practices. It helps to map the value chain, identify an organization’s key stakeholders, and analyze the company’s position in ten sustainability standards: climate change, pollution, water and marine resources, biodiversity and ecosystems, resource usage and circular economy, labor force, employees in the value chain, affected communities, consumers and end-users, and business conduct.
In addition to the assessment tool, the web platform offers descriptions of sustainability reporting standards, general guidance, educational videos, best practice examples, and links to further resources. The tool also provides tailored recommendations for next steps, simplifying the reporting process and improving data quality.
To introduce the developed platform and the ESG Tool, we invite companies to participate in the following webinars:
• 10 September, 10:00–11:30, in English, online, registration until 8 September: https://forms.office.com/e/wWXCBt4aTY
